About Me

I am an Aromatherapist and Reflexologist; I hold International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC) diplomas in:

  • Aromatherapy,
  • Reflexology,
  • Holistic Swedish Massage,
  • Indian Head Massage

 

I have also trained in Hot Stone Massage/Therapy with the Middlesex School of Complementary Medicine, Hopi Ear Candles with the S.E.E.D Institute and Tsuboki Japanese Facial Massage with Anne Parry (the originator of this therapy).

I am registered with the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, Complementary Therapy Network of professionally registered and experienced therapists who have undertaken further training in cancer care.  To achieve this, I completed the following courses:

  • Cancer and its treatments
  • Using Complementary therapies with cancer patients

I am a member of EMBODY, the Complementary Therapists Association, which means my qualifications have been verified, I am fully insured and undertake  continuous professional development, in order to keep up to date with the latest developments and techniques.

I believe passionately in a holistic approach, aiming to identify and treat the cause not just the symptoms of disease and have worked with clients presenting with a wide variety of conditions among them; Arthritis, anxiety, asthma, cancer, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME), Diabetes, Eczema, Insomnia, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, menstrual irregularities, menopausal symptoms, Migraine, Multiple Sclerosis, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Sub-fertility, and clients with shoulder, neck and back problems.

 

 

 

 

 

ITEC
International Therapy Examination Council offer a wide range of qualifications worldwide. ITEC qualifications are accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority, on behalf of the Department for Education and Skills in the UK. All qualifications comply with the National Occupational Standards where they exist and are supported by the National Training Organisations.
